IRS Spring 2021 Meeting


We hope you will be able to join us at the Spring Meeting of the Indiana Radiological Society, which will be held virtually (via Zoom) this spring! It will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. RSVP form is below.

Our keynote speaker will be Connor Norwood, PhD, MHA. Dr. Norwood is Associate Faculty of IU Executive Education and Chief Data Officer at Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. He will be discussing how data influences and aids in making decisions.

Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Virtually via Zoom. Unfortunately, we will not be able to meet in person this fall but hope to reconvene in person for the Fall 2021 meeting. A Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the meeting on March 13, 2021.

"Influencing Decisions with the Stories Behind the Data"
Leaders are increasingly put under pressure to do more with less while promoting high quality and increased efficiencies. Therefore, the ability to transform data into effective stories and decision-making tools is a necessary skill for all leaders. In this course, participants will learn how to combine
the heart (storytelling) and the head (data) in order to engage their audience effectively and achieve the impact they seek. -Format will include breakout sessions to discuss strategies.

*Resident portion of the program is complete at 11:30.

11:30-11:40 - Break

11:40-12:30 - Business Meeting: IRS Officers & Radiologists, Radiation Oncologists, and Business Managers

Fee/RSVP:
Free for active IRS members. Non-trainee radiologists and radiation oncologists should renew expired memberships by paying ACR dues prior to meeting registration.
